Ted Andrew
Communications and Marketing Assistant |
Hello everyone!
I am Ted Andrew and I am the Summer Communications and Marketing Assistant. My main jobs include writing press releases, taking photos and creating the summer edition of the 4-H Magazine. I will also be going to a lot of provincial and regional 4-H activities throughout the summer. I am really excited for the summer to see all that happens in 4-H.
I was in 4-H for nine years in the sheep, cooking and carcass projects. I am currently pursuing a career in broadcasting and taking my Communications Arts diploma at Lethbridge College.
I look forward to my first summer of working with 4-H! |

Jalisa Barnett
Travel & Exchange
Program Coordinator |
Hello 4-Hers!
My name is Jalisa Barnett and I am the Alberta 4-H Travel & Exchange Program Coordinator for the summer of 2010. I currently live in Calgary and have just completed my fourth year towards a Communication Studies Bachelor of Arts at the University of Calgary. I was a member of the Needles & Pins 4-H Club, where I crafted and sewed for eight years. Although I haven’t been an active 4-H member since I graduated from high school in 2006 I have many fond memories of the program, as well as lifelong friends I’ve stayed in touch with. Let me tell you, the public speaking skills I learned along the way sure have paid off!
For the Travel & Exchange Program this summer I’m looking forward to planning and coordinating all of the travel opportunities awarded to delegates from Selections. I’ll even be going along to chaperone the Alberta/Northwest Territories Agricultural Development Tour! Another exciting aspect of my summer’s work portfolio is that I get to ensure incoming delegates from across North America and the world have a great experience with 4-H and our province. Stay tuned for more details! |

Danielle Charron
Regional Assistant- Northeast & East Central |
Hello everyone!
My name is Danielle Charron and I'm working as an Alberta 4-H Regional Program Assistant for the Vermilion and Stettler 4-H offices. I was a member of 4-H for nine years before packing up and moving to Edmonton to attend the University of Alberta. I've just completed my first year of post-secondary and I'm excited to be working with the
4-H program this summer.
And to make this bio a little less dry, I'll include some random facts about myself: I suffer from coulrophobia (the fear of clowns), I've been bungee jumping, I've travelled to eight different countries, and my favourite band of all time is Jet.
Hopefully see you around this summer! |

Well hello there!
My name is Kari Bergerud, and this will be my second year working with the amazingly talented Alberta 4-H summer staff group.
Just a little bit about me: I was in 4-H for eight years; one year in a multi-club and then as a member of the Lucky "13" 4-H Light Horse Club for seven years. My past two years have been spent as an Ambassador for the Northeast Region. I am going into my third year of the Bachelor of Science in the Nursing program at Red Deer College. Home, for me, is a farm near Edgerton, Alberta where my family has a grain farm. My hobbies include playing violin, guitar and bodhran (Irish drum), riding, reading, and yes... knitting. :)
I am looking forward to seeing you all this summer at the 2010 4-H Summer Programs!
Ciao!
