The project(s) that school-based programs offer should be determined through a group effort. The school administration and staff involved determine the feasibility of each possible project. Project Leaders review the above project choices to determine which they would be comfortable leading. Students and parents should be surveyed to determine interest.
The scheduling of these projects, how many projects to offer per term (or year), the ages to be involved and project groupings; however, will most likely be determined at the school level with school administration.
A description of each of the more than 30 projects available can be found here: www.4h.ab.ca/About/projects.html
Obtain a single copy of project/record books and leaders guides for the project(s) your school is interested in for the above groups to review before making a final decision.
