This is the 34th year of the annual event Provincial 4-H Beef Heifer Show.
Your entry with livestock automatically enters you into all competitions (which are mandatory) except Show Ring Team Judging. If you do not bring livestock you are automatically entered into all competitions except Show Ring Team Judging and Showmanship. Showmanship is available to livestock exhibitors only.
Please indicate on the entry form if you are participating in Show Ring Team Judging and who your partner is. If you do not indicate a partner one will be found for you. Team Grooming (for Junior & Intermediate) and Team Challenge Competitions are assigned.
The senior members will be doing the "You'reHired" contest, which involves a job interview and submission of a resume, instead of Team Grooming.
Program participation capacity is 300 4-H members, with stalling for a maximum of 500 head.
Applications will be processed on a first come-first serve basis.
You will receive a confirmation package in the mail a couple of weeks prior to the program.
Members will compete in the following age categories. All ages are as of January 1, 2010.
Junior: 9 to 11
Intermediate: 12 to 14
Senior: 15 to 20

Cost for 4-H Members
$40 per participant (includes GST, one dinner for members supplied by program sponsors and a t-shirt) plus $15 for each project entry. I.E. A beef members with a yearling, two and three year olds; $40 + $15 + $15 + $15 = $85; A beef member with a two year old cow calf pair only; $40 + $15 = $55; Any member not exhibiting livestock: $40.
