Wanted 4-H Alumni/Volunteers

Prerequisites: Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and have been involved with the 4-H program for at least two years, have attended LTCS or been involved in a leadership capacity for two years. All volunteers must satisfy a screening process, which includes an application, reference and criminal record check. An orientation is provided for all positions.

 Program Description: 4-H is looking for energetic and enthusiastic volunteers to support the Summer Program Assistant Team in implementing our member development programs. Volunteer positions are an amazing opportunity to assist in the positive development of members, while gaining valuable skills and unforgettable experiences.

Positions available  
 
Volunteer staff/Camp parent at Camping Programs – interact with the program delegates, assist the Summer Program Assistants with administration, supervision and incident/accident management, lead an appreciation session, provide input on the program and have a lot of fun.
 
Volunteer staff at People Developing People or Club Week – interact with the program delegates, facilitate a small group through the program’s activities, lead recreation or leisure activities, assist with program supervision, network with other volunteers, play an essential role in the program decision-making process and have a lot of fun.
