We invite all general, assistant and project leaders who work with beef or sheep projects to apply. Parents of beef or sheep members are encouraged to apply as well, with priority given to registered leaders.

Program description:
The 4-H Beef Advisory Committee (BAC) and the 4-H Sheep Advisory Committee presents the 4-H Alberta Beef and Sheep Leaders’ Updates 2012.
During this weekend, you will have the opportunity to participate in concurrent sessions on a variety of beef and sheep industry and 4-H specific topics. There will be large group presentations on industry topics. You will have the chance to network with fellow 4-H leaders from across the province.
Who can apply: We invite all general, assistant and project leaders who work with beef or sheep projects to apply. Parents of beef or sheep members are encouraged to apply as well, with priority given to registered leaders.
Tentative Schedule:
Friday, October 19th
Registration: 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Keynote Speaker: Brenda Schoepp – “Trends and Issues in Marketing Cattle”
Saturday, October 20th
Four rounds of concurrent sessions at the Alberta 4-H Centre
Guest Speaker: Brand Andres, Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development – “Preparing for and Responding to Animal Disasters”
Sunday, October 21st
