National 4-H Month

Show Your 4-H Colours! Go Green, Go 4-H

Wear Your 4-H Colours Day celebrates the far-reaching nature of this organization, the effect that 4-H has had on others and the uniting of people—rural and urban, professional or student, youth or young at heart—who have in some way at some time been affected by the Alberta 4-H organization.

Being that Show Your 4-H Colours! Go Green, Go 4-H is the kick-off to November’s National 4-H Month, it is important for members, leaders, clubs, staff, districts, councils and regions to give the day Cleaver-like enthusiasm to make sure that everyone sees that 4-H really is everywhere. It’s great that 6,717 youth across the province know – but there is always room for more!

So on November 3rd, break out your program t-shirts and your 4-H club attire, or maybe a green shirt, tie and hat or maybe a scarf made out of dried four-leaf cloverleaves with a matching belt.

Visit the website frequently for updates on what Alberta 4-H is doing to celebrate National 4-H Month and be sure to keep us informed on what you as an individual or as part of a club are doing to show your 4-H pride. Please email any stories or photos to info@4h.ab.ca.

Happy National 4-H Month!
