4-H Alberta - Pheasant Project Registration Deadline

Deadline: February 11, 2020 4:33 PM
Location: Across Alberta

Program Description:

Welcome to the 4-H Alberta Pheasant Project! It is time to get thinking about pheasants for the 2020 season, with our partner the Alberta Conservation Association.

Some of you are returning and have a bit of experience with the 4-H pheasant project, and some of you are new – on behalf of 4-H Alberta and the Alberta Conservation Association, we are glad that you have decided to take on this challenging project in 2020!  It is an amazing experience and we will all ‘see’ and learn new things!

Please note that there are some changes to the project and to the requirements this year, so you will need to read everything carefully.  If you are aware of interested members who may not as yet have registered in the project – it is not too late.  It needs to be completed before February 11th.

As well, if you determine that you may not be able to proceed with this project this year, please let me know so that you are removed from the list.  And if you have questions that may arise after you read the documentation, please let me know so that we are able to clarify anything that is unclear before the deadline.  There are no extensions to the deadline.

Note that orders for pheasant chicks must be received on the Club Tally Form (submitted by the club project leader) no later than February 11, 2020.  Cheques for any purchased chicks should be sent as soon as possible (please let me know when they are in the mail), to be received here at the 4-H office, so that I am able to forward them to ACA immediately following the February 11 date.

Signed agreement forms are required from each 4-H pheasant project member, to be received by February 11, 2020.  You may scan and email them to ginny.smith@gov.ab.ca .

Please check out the Question and Answer pages attached as well.
