Program Description:

Date:  March 13

Location:  Lakeland College VERMILION AB

Lakeland College in Vermilion, Alberta, would like to extend an invitation to you and your team to attend our 31st annual competition.  The competition will again include both intercollegiate teams and 4-H teams.

The classes to be judged will include both livestock and crop classes.  A list of potential classes is on the next page.  Teams will consist of four judges, but in the calculation of team scores, the lowest score will be dropped and your team score will include the three highest scores.  If there are changes in team membership after you have registered your team, please let us know at the time of registration on March 8.  Registration fees are: • $55 per 4-H team  • $75 per college team  • $25 per individual judge

There will also be a lunch again this year.  Lunch tickets will be $15 per person and they should be ordered and paid for with the registration fee.  The awards will be presented following lunch in the College Cafeteria.  There will be a very limited number of lunch tickets available on the day of the competition, so please insure that you have all that you need in advance.

The deadline for pre-registration is February 28.  Please return the form as soon as possible and make cheques payable to “Lakeland College.”

Ag-Citing, the open house for the Agriculture School at Lakeland College is also being held on March 8, so there will be lots to see and do that afternoon.

The final schedule and rules will be sent out once we have received your paid registrations.
